Novel view synthesis (NVS) bridges the gap between 2D imagery and immersive 3D experiences. It uses advanced algorithms and AI to generate new perspectives of a scene, so you can explore it from angles and viewpoints as if you were there.
In these examples, you can see how the viewer renders view-dependent material effects like reflections and fur. They change with the viewing angle, which a textured mesh cannot hold.
